Linen table runner “Four Fruits” pattern (1862) by William Morris. Original from The Smithsonian Institution. William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production.
FABRIC: 100% linen fabric (European linen).
HAND MADE: in Lithuania.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
– Wash with water temperature 40 ° C,
– Straightening and hang to dry,
– It will become softer with each washing,
– Iron upside down (for best results iron with lots of steam).
– Linen is a very durable, strong fabric, and one of the few that are stronger wet than dry. The fibers do not stretch, and are resistant to damage from abrasion.
